Few days ago while checking my Technorati.com profile I found a link says “Write for Technorati”, the link looked tempting so I clicked on it.
After reading what’s on that page I found that I have to fill a request form, and in order for my form to be reviewed, I have to submit a link to my blog so they can check my own articles, which I did.

I’ve been trying for months now to “Claim” my blog on Technorati.com, but somehow I’m not able to do that. Every time I try to claim it something goes wrong. No matter what i do, it never works.
But today i tried to claim it, and fortunately it worked.
For those who don’t know what is Technorati, please read the below
“Technorati was founded to help bloggers succeed by collecting, highlighting, and distributing the global online conversation. Founded as the first blog search engine, Technorati has expanded to a full service media company providing services to the blogs and social media sites and connecting them with advertisers who want to join the conversation, and whose online properties introduce blog content to millions of consumers.”

While surfing the Internet, caught my attention a blog post on problogger.net called ” 31 Days to Build a Better Blog“.
The idea is, you subscribe to the project, and on a daily basis and for 31 days, they will send you an email with a task to do in your blog.
Each task will help you improve your blog, and will give you some tips on how to make a better blog and better posts.
So I’ve subscribed in there project and so far I’ve received two very easy yet powerful tasks for my blog. And the tasks are:
1) Create an “elevator pitch“.
As written on Wikipedia “An elevator pitch is an overview of an idea for a product, service, or project. The name reflects the fact that an elevator pitch can be delivered in the time span of an elevator ride (for example, thirty seconds or 100-150 words)”
2) Write a “list post“.
There are many types of List Posts, eg create a post contains only lists , and create a normal post with a list inside (this post is an example of this type)
Many viewers like this method while reading, because it’s easier to read and gives them the exact point of the post without too much explanation.
So far, I’ve done all the tasks given to me, and hopefully i will keep doing the rest of them.
Finally, i really recommend new or professional bloggers to subscribe, it’s an easy, fun and free way to improve your blog.
