Few days ago while checking my Technorati.com profile I found a link says “Write for Technorati”, the link looked tempting so I clicked on it.
After reading what’s on that page I found that I have to fill a request form, and in order for my form to be reviewed, I have to submit a link to my blog so they can check my own articles, which I did.
The next day, they sent me an email that they accepted my submission, and stated a few rules I should follow while writing an article.
After reading the rules, I created my first article which is a response to a BBC news article about an Uruguayan director offered a $30M deal to create a Hollywood film after uploading a 4 minutes SciFi clip to Youtube.
Then I submitted the article to be reviewed by Technorati’s editors, and finally it was approved and published.
Today while checking Tehnorati’s website, I found that my article have been featured on the home page!!! What a surprise, my first article have been featured on the home page.
This encouraged me to prepare more articles to publish on their website, and hopefully will drive some traffic to my blog.
For the record, I have posted the same article in my blog the next day after it was published on Technorati.com, because their rules says that my articles should be exclusive to Technorati.com, or posted first on Technorati.com before any other websites.
