Today as usual I took a look at the blog’s statistics, and one of the charts caught my eyes, the Most Used Browsers chart.
In that chart I noticed that 62.04% (20,617) of my blog’s visitors was using Internet Explorer, while 22.35% (7426) was using Firefox (check the full chart at the end of the post).
This fact made me think, there are many people still trapped in the browsers’ stone ages, people needs a guiding out of those ages to the new civilization, so I decided to write this post.
The Internet is growing, new technologies been used everyday. A whole new generation of browsers is all over the Internet, many choices with better Internet experience.
Browsers faster, more secure, more advanced and even more logically accepted to the common sense than the dusty IE browsers.
Browsers helps you concentrate on what’s important to you, and take care of you instead of you taking care of them.
So we HAVE to keep up.
Three days ago I’ve pledged to make a better Internet on the OneWebDay event, and I did my part, but looking to the charts today reminded me that I should never stop trying to make a better web experience.
So as a guide to the new civilization, I’ve listed below the new generation browsers I was talking about, choose one, install, and have fun.
3) Opera
4) Apple Safari
For more, please visit this website, and believe me, any browser is better than Internet Explorer.
